Speaker Introduction:

Liu Liang,Associate professor,graduated from Tianjin Medical College in 1995 and worked in Tianjin Children's Hospital. In 1997, he received a master's degree in neurophysiology from Capital Medical College, a doctor's statistics degree of Ohio State University in 2006, and a postdoctoral research in the Edwards Laboratory of Harvard University during 2006-2009. He acted as an assistant Professor of Delaware State University during 2010-2011 and Assistant Professor of Department of Statistics in University of Georgia during 2011-2016, and Associate Professor of Department of Statistics, University of Georgia since 2016. Mainly engaged in the study of the species evolutionary random model, he is good at remodeling the evolutionary history of species through mathematical models and molecular sequences, and the application of corresponding mathematical models in the fields of medicine, epidemiology, linguistics and so on. He has outstanding accomplishments in the fields of biostatistics, bioinformatics, molecular evolution and so on, and presides over the National Science Foundation of the United States many times.He has published 53 SCI papers , 2 of these were in Science (1 was published in Science by the first author in 2015), 1 in Nature Communication, 5 in the Proceedings of the American Academy of Sciences (2 by the first author in 2017), and were awarded distinguished  papers award of the academy for systems biology.
