Speaker Introduction:
Dr. Jia Zhenquan is a tenured professor at North Carolina State University, and a principle Investigator and visiting professor at the School of Pharmacy, Campbell University. Professor Jia Zhenquan's main research areas are as follows: first, Molecular regulation of nutrient and functional factors of natural products on chronic degenerative diseases (such as cardiovascular diseases) and research on intervention of diseases; second, Redox regulation mechanism research on cardiovascular mechanism, biological effects and cellular signals by atmospheric fine particles. At present, with more than 2000 citations,52 papers have been published in SCI journals, and 6 English articles have been edited. As a project leader, Professor Jia Zhenquan has presided over more than ten scientific research projects, including three National Institutes of Health (NIH) projects and one Natural Science Foundation project. In 2014, he won the Bernard-Glickman Dean 's Professorship, North Carolina State University Distinguished Professor Award.
